Five New Customers Select OpenPages' Sarbanes-Oxley Express to Address Compliance Requirements

September 26, 2003

Waltham, Mass. – September 26, 2003 – OpenPages, a leading provider of Corporate Compliance and Enterprise Risk Assurance solutions, today announced that five more companies have chosen its Sarbanes-Oxley Express application to help them comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The customers include Ameren Corporation, Becton, Dickinson and Company, FEI Company, Financial Federal Corporation and Fortis. These new customers join OpenPages growing customer base of Fortune 1000 customers that selected Sarbanes Oxley Express since its release earlier this summer, including Volt Information Sciences. With over 10 new customers signed since the public launch of Sarbanes-Oxley Express, OpenPages has established itself as the clear leader in this emerging market.

OpenPages has secured the leadership position in the Sarbanes-Oxley market by enabling customers to create a flexible foundation that they can adapt as the SEC modifies its definition of compliance.

“ We continue to add new customers at a rapid pace—signing four companies in one day—and believe that enterprises are adopting our solution faster than any competitive offering,” said Michael J. Duffy, CEO and president of OpenPages. " As more companies evaluate software for helping them solve key governance and compliance issues they are realizing that it is beneficial to have a single platform that encompasses all aspects, not just those mandated by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. They’ll look to see which products are gaining customer acceptance as proof of this model and, as a result, we’re well positioned to capitalize on the opportunity before us.”

About the Customers:

On June 30, 2003 OpenPages announced the general availability of Sarbanes-Oxley Express. The first version was designed to address Section 404 of the Act, which requires that companies establish and maintain adequate internal controls and procedures, as well as conduct annual evaluations of internal controls and procedures for financial reporting. Sarbanes-Oxley Express helps companies create a framework and more efficiently plan, document, test, monitor, communicate and attest to the effectiveness of the controls adopted

No other vendor offering corporate governance, and specifically, Sarbanes-Oxley solutions, has announced a customer base comparable to OpenPages.
