CMMI stands for the Capability Maturity Model Integration
developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie
Mellon University. It combines the CMM for Software (SW-CMM),
a five level assessment, and the Systems Engineering Capability
model and the Integrated product Development Capability Maturity
Model. The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) is a method for
evaluating the maturity of organizations on a scale of 1 to
5. Since its creation in the mid-1980s, the CMM has been used
