DEY REPORT:

  • DEY REPORT Definition

    The Dey Report is a study of Canadian corporate governance, completed by the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) committee chaired by Peter Dey. The report contained 14 recommendations to assist TSX-listed companies in their approach to corporate governance. Its guidelines addressed Board responsibility, composition, compensation, and education. Included was the recommendation that audit committees should be composed exclusively of outside directors, with specific responsibilities, direct communication with auditors, and oversight responsibility for management reporting on internal control.
